Job Title: Part-Time Front-End Developer Intern

We are seeking a Part-Time Front-End Developer Intern who is interested in gaining experience with JavaScript and React in the fintech industry, working remotely. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the development and maintenance of our fintech web application's front-end.

Responsibilities:

• Developing new user-facing features using React.js

• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use

• Optimizing the application for maximum speed and scalability

• Collaborating with back-end developers and UX/UI designers to improve usability

• Ensuring the application is cross-browser and cross-platform compatible

• Staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in front-end development

Requirements:

• No prior experience required, but a willingness to learn and take on new challenges is essential

• Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript

• Some familiarity with front-end build tools, such as Webpack and Gulp, is a plus

• Interest in working with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling

• Good understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance optimization techniques

• Familiarity with Git version control is a plus

• Interest in fintech applications and security practices is desirable
